LITTLE BACKGROUND

Verdefy is a Philippine skincare brand known for its Scar Remover Cream and other skin-repair products, focusing on safe, effective, and affordable solutions for everyday use.

The brand has built strong visibility on TikTok and other social platforms, connecting with consumers through relatable, results-driven marketing.

Before April, Verdefy’s TikTok Shop affiliate efforts were present, but flatlining. March closed with decent numbers, but growth had slowed, and the team struggled to scale impact despite a wide base of creators.

When our team stepped in, we restructured their affiliate system and immediately focused on traction and momentum.

March showed signs of a stall:

  • ₱4.47M in GMV, but not growing week-on-week

  • 63,000 affiliates, yet limited content from the most promising ones

  • Nearly 25,000 items sold, but lacking strong week-to-week acceleration

There was potential but no push. The goal was clear: turn Verdefy’s affiliate program from steady to scaling.

MAIN OBJECTIVES

To unlock scale, we focused on three strategic objectives:

  1. Boost affiliate GMV through tighter activation and follow-through

  2. Increase product sell-through by targeting creators with proven conversions

  3. Drive weekly momentum to break past March’s plateau

THE SOLUTION

Here’s what we did to scale Verdefy’s affiliate plan:

1. Smarter Affiliate Targeting

We didn’t chase volume. We prioritized creators who already had proven sales chops. That meant looking at past GMV, consistent output, and product-fit relevance, then reaching out directly with samples and guidance.

2. Weekly Tracking and Nudges

From our internal dashboard to TikTok Creator messages, we tracked output weekly, then followed up where needed. Delayed posts? We checked in. Top videos? We boosted or requested more. This helped drive video output from 231 to 373 videos per week, a 61.5% boost.

3. Performance Visibility

We tracked affiliate data down to the creator level, items sold, GMV per video, and estimated commissions, to spot and support our best-performing affiliates in real time.

THE RESULTS

  • ₱4.47M ➡ ₱6.2M in GMV from March to April (📈 +38.4%)
  • 24,997 ➡ 36,042 items sold (+11,045 units / 📈 +44.2%)
  • Grew to 65,000+ active affiliate accounts by April
